100% Hemp Fiber, de-gummed

 

De-gummed hemp fiber has been processed to remove lignin. Lignin holds fibers together and gives the hemp stalks their rigidity. Removing the lignin from the hemp fibers leaves the fibers finer and softer. These fibers have been cut and are great for blending with other fibers. De-gummed hemp fiber is soft absorbent and may be used as a natural stuffing for upholstery or pillows, or used as a soft animal bedding.
