Soft and naturally colored, this medium weight fabric is great for light apparel and home decor.

White with Brown Stripe – 100% GOTS Certified organic cotton (9% Native Colorgrown Brown/91% Tanguis cotton)

Brown with White Stripe – 100% GOTS Certified organic cotton (91% Native Colorgrown Brown/9% Tanguis cotton) 

 

This fabric is made in Peru by a GOTS certified family run business that operates under Fair Trade standards and supports more than 160 local families.  Their organic practices keep the land free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.  The cotton is hand picked, reducing the environmental impact and improving the quality of the cotton.  The colorgrown cotton used in this cloth is a wild variety native to Peru, and its cultivation has rescued it from extinction.  Tanguis white cotton is high quality and very absorbant.
